DR. JOSÉ LAGE - Principal Dentist

Qualified at ISCSEM (Egas Moniz Higher Institute of Health Sciences) in Lisbon - Portugal in 2001.
From 2001 to 2003 Dr Lage worked in Portugal in private practices and was Dental Assistant in the Department of Endodontics (Root Canal Treatments) at ISCSEM in Lisbon.
Dr Lage completed a Diploma in Endodontics from the University of Valencia (Spain) in 2003.
In 2010 he became a Certified Practitioner in Clearstep Invisible Braces (UK).
Dr Lage Worked in the UK in mixed NHS and Private dental practices from March 2003 to May 2009.
Currently working exclusively at NDP - Natureza Dental Practice since June 2009.
Dr Lage has a special interest in Root Canal Treatments (Endodontics), Cosmetic Dentistry (crowns, bridges, veneers, teeth whitening) and Invisible Braces (Clearstep).
He is very calm and very good with children and nervous patients.
José speaks English, Portuguese and Spanish and is trying to improve his Italian and French.
Outside dentistry Jose loves football, swimming, painting, music and reading.

Qualified at ISCSEM (Egas Moniz Higher Institute of Health Sciences) in Lisbon - Portugal in 2006.
After coming in to the UK to work as a General Dental Practitioner in 2007 he successfully concluded an Intense Post Graduate Course in Advanced Oral Surgery in the prestigious Havana Faculty, Cuba.
Two years later Dr Gutierres interrupted his professional activity and moved to Brazil, where he trained with some of the leading names in Implantology. He graduated from CETO and concluded the “International Advanced Program in Implant Dentistry” from APCD/Implant Brazil.
Following this period he was invited to Clinical Coordinator of UK and International Dental Implant courses and now regularly lectures groups of dentists in Implant Dentistry from the UK.
In 2011 Dr Gutierres completed his Masters Degree in Implant Dentistry at Warwick University.
Experienced in Single and Multiple Implant placement, where different types of Bone grafting procedures may be required and in other advanced surgical procedures such as complicated/wisdom teeth extractions.
Dr Gutierres brings further expertise, enthusiasm and passion to our team.
He likes adventurous sports, traveling and spending time with his family.
